Amritsar, April 23: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) president Bibi Jagir Kaur has expressed grief over the demise of Baba Dilawar Singh Jabranwale, head of Dera Santpura Manko Jabbar and chancellor of Sant Bhag Singh University.
Bibi Jagir Kaur said that Baba Dilawar Singh has always given priority to the field of education as well as social welfare.
She said that Baba Dilawar Singh also made a great contribution to the formation of Sant Bhag Singh University from where thousands of students have attained higher status. Baba Dilawar Singh also built many roads and bridges while engaging in religious and social service.
Bibi Jagir Kaur said that according to the laws of nature, everyone has to leave the world, but due to the social welfare work done in the world; some personalities make a permanent place in the minds of the people.
She said that with the demise of Baba Dilawar Singh, the Adampur, Jalandhar area has suffered a huge loss.
Bibi Jagir Kaur expressed her grief over the demise of Baba Ji and prayed to Karta Purakh to give shelter to the departed soul at his feet.
