Amritsar, February 15:
A special meeting was held on Monday at the office of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee regarding the budget for the year 2021-22.
Meanwhile, the budget committee constituted by the SGPC president Bibi Jagir Kaur held discussions with the managers of the Gurdwaras under the management of the SGPC on financial matters in view of the budget.
SGPC chief secretary adv Harjinder Singh, member Bibi Kiranjot Kaur, Bibi Paramjit Kaur Landran, additional secretary S. Sukhdev Singh Bhurakohna, S. Sukhminder Singh, OSD Satbir Singh and chief accountant S. Milkha Singh were present in the meeting.
Disclosing this here on Monday, SGPC chief secretary adv Harjinder Singh said, “With regard to the forthcoming budget session of the SGPC, the expenditure and revenue of Gurdwaras has been considered. Information about the budget of Gurdwaras has been received from the managers. The purpose of pre-budget discussions was to set better priorities.”
On this occasion deputy secretary S. Kulwinder Singh Ramdas and superintendent S. Malkit Singh Baherwal, accountant Manjinderpal Singh were also present.
