Bibi Jagir Kaur expresses grief on demise of senior journalist Major Singh
Amritsar, March 6: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) president Bibi Jagir Kaur expressed grief on the demise of S. Major Singh, senior journalist of daily Ajit newspaper. Bibi Jagir Kaur said, “S. Major Singh was one of those intelligent journalists who covered the affairs of Punjab closely. The demise of such an investigative journalist is an unbearable loss not only for the media world but also for Punjab.” Bibi Jagir Kaur called on the family members of S. Major Singh to offer her condolences, and prayed for the departed soul to be rested in peace. Meanwhile, the publicity department of SGPC also expressed grief over the demise of S. Major Singh.
