Bibi Jagir Kaur expresses grief over demise of SGPC member S. Gurtej Singh Dhadde

Tributes paid to departed soul at condolence gathering at SGPC headquarter, office closed afternoon Amritsar, March 10: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) president Bibi Jagir Kaur has expressed grief over the demise of SGPC member S. Gurtej Singh Dhadde. S. Gurtej Singh Dhadde was SGPC member from Maur Mandi constituency in Bathinda district and he was also a member of body's executive committee. SGPC president Bibi Jagir Kaur said that S. Gurtej Singh's demise is a panthic loss and expressed sympathy with his family members. Bibi Jagir Kaur said that S. Gurtej Singh Dhadde had been active in the religious field for a long time and was a guardian of panthic traditions and doctrines. SGPC president prayed to the Karta Purakh to dwell to the departed soul at his feet and give strength to the family to follow his will. Meanwhile at the SGPC headquarters at Teja Singh Samundri Hall, a condolence gathering was held on the demise of S. Gurtej Singh Dhade, in which after the recitation of Mool Mantra and Gur Mantra, prayers were offered and tributes were paid to the departed soul. On this occasion, senior vice-president of SGPC S. Surjit Singh Bhitewad and chief secretary adv Harjinder Singh Dhami, and other senior officials remembered the panthic services of S. Gurtej Singh Dhadde. During the condolence meeting, SGPC executive committee member S. Amrik Singh Shahpur, Bhai Manjit Singh Bhurakohna, Bhai Ram Singh, S. Jarnail Singh Dogranwala, S. Kulwant Singh Mannan, S. Satpal Singh Talwandi Bhai, additional secretary Sukhdev Singh Bhurakohna, S. Partap Singh, OSD Satbir Singh Dhami, deputy secretary Balwinder Singh Kahlwan, S. Sulukhan Singh Bhangali, S. Gurmeet Singh Butter, superintendent Malkit Singh Baherwal, manager S. Baghel Singh and all staff of SGPC and Dharam Prachar Committee and Sri Darbar Sahib were present. Meanwhile, the SGPC offices were closed in the afternoon.
